You might be surprised to learn how much information you can garner from your Google History.
Google collects data on what websites you visit, for how long, and helps make it easier to find things about those sites in the future.
You have two options here. The first is to go to google.com/history (note that this is not the same as clicking on Your Browser at the Top of Every Page). Click the button next to One Site or All Sites and choose’ Go To Last.’ This will take you to a page where you can see all of your website visits over the last year.
The second option is to install Google Chrome. Once you do that, every site you view gets stored into a folder called Past Visits. It takes up roughly 4GB of space depending upon the number of visited pages.
If you want to clear out old entries, there are several ways to do so. First, click the menu button located at the top right corner of your Chrome browser window, then select Settings. In the “Settings” section, scroll down until you see Show advanced settings, below the label Content settings. At the bottom, look for Cookies & Data Protection; turn them both off. Now close your browser and restart it.
To undo any changes recently made, repeat the steps above but instead of turning Off Cookie and Data protection, only disable them. Restart your browser after that.
When you search for information, the results should be specific and relevant. If your title is generic (e.g., “how to live with no money”), the website may not have much value to you.
Your title should describe what the article is about. And the better you understand how to write an article, the more creative your title will be.
You can use keyword phrases as well. But remember that doing this manually is time consuming and difficult. There are several tools available that help you create unique titles and tags for your articles. Automation is key.
There’s an old saying that when searching for anything, be it a job, house or girlfriend, being specific is one of your biggest assets. Same goes for getting help from search engines.
You want to make sure you are as precise as possible when asking questions or sending requests through Google. Specific things usually get better results than general things.
If you ask someone “how did you find out about this place?” You’re going to get more of a general answer like “I heard about it somewhere” or “somebody told me.”
People will tell you all sorts of things, but how can they know for sure if they won’t go check out what they were talking about? They may not even have any proof that something worked.
However, there’s always evidence that it works – you just have to look in the right places. Go to where people say they got their information from and see if you can spot a backlink or affiliate link, which people use to promote products.
If you buy something through those links, they may pay commissions to the companies who advertise with them. Those companies may then give commissions to the bloggers who writes articles about the product.
All websites hosting blogs also typically put ads around their pages. The publishers of these sites take payment for viewing ads, some of which relate to whatever page you were looking at when
Even if you don’t have any time, it is still important to search for things online. No matter what you are looking for – jobs, businesses, products, services, blogs, articles, lessons, projects, or people– you will always need internet access.
The more places that you can access, the easier your life will be.
You should also consider doing a podcast about something you want to do with your life. It can be done at home, and gets around that stigma of not being able to do anything else except work or relax.
