Research shows that people with specialized knowledge of AI are in high demand. “AI specialists understand the limitations of AI and how to apply it to specific situations,” says Professor Christopher Merrell, who teaches computer science at Northern Kentucky University (NKU).

Professor Merrell estimates that there are about 20 major employers seeking employees with advanced degrees in AI. These companies need people who can develop real world solutions for difficult problems using computers.

“Programmers write the code that gives [the artificial intelligence] self-awareness, so someone needs to write the script,” explains Professor John Moeser, director of research operations at NKU.

Professors Moeser and Merrell say one unique skill set of programmers is communication; they believe this person will be necessary in creating future employment opportunities.

However, experts agree that the loss of job roles will take time. During that time, individuals will need other skills to find.

This was at the beginning of the Cold War, so every country knew about these capabilities. Troops were ordered not to go anywhere without orders from their government. That's when Dr. Samuel began looking for other uses for this technology.

He came up with ideas such as telling the Army where enemy tanks are located by providing data drops behind the lines. It also helped reduce casualties due to bombing. Later, this program became known as Project MOCKY-MARY.

More than 20 years later, we still use many technologies that were once used to find enemies weapons and hide places. These include satellites, drones and infrared cameras.

However, most military applications involve things like face recognition software and neural networks.

Most people today believe that artificial intelligence (AI) is something computers do, not humans. But Danny Yukelovic says this thinking is outdated.

Those who worry about the risks of artificial intelligence focus their attention on the question of whether the technology will create a “mid-air collision” between unmanned vehicles (planes, rockets, etc.). However, these technologies benefit billions of people around the world and proper regulation could ensure that millions of deaths from vehicle collisions remain just science fiction.

This also applies to things like comparing photos and videos from your phone as well as reading reviews and ratings for anything you want to buy.

More and more companies are using reports and statistics to promote their products. If there isn’t enough evidence, customers may still be convinced after hearing about some sort of problem or opening another product.
